my eyes ? |

You can pledge your eyes by filling the
Pledge form available in our hospitals. After processing
the form, a card is issued to the donor indicating brief
details about the donor. Upon his/her death, the family
members have to inform Mahavir International to fulfill
the donors pledge. Eyes have to be taken out from the
dead body within six hours from the death by our team
of doctors. There are no charges for this gesture.

No. Its necessary to have the consent
of the person who is donating/pledging his/her eyes.

Anyone of any age can donate eyes, irrespective
of sex, blood group, religion, caste or creed. Even
if you wear specs, have diabetes, hypertension, asthma,
tuberculosis or any other disorders, you can still donate
your eyes.

Eye donation does not disfigure the face
nor does it interfere with normal funerary arrangements.

Eyes can be donated even if they are
not pledged. However, to be to be of use eyes must be
removed within 6-8 hours of death.

Although Mahavir International Delhi
is serving the society in many ways but its focus area
is in the field of eye care. It has 2 ultra modern
Operation Theatre at its Rajdhani Charitable Hospital,
Nabi Karim and Badarpur which are equipped with the latest
eye equipments. Operations for Cataract, Glaucoma and
cornea transplant are done there. Besides this, OPDs
for Eye, Physiotherapy, ENT, General Medicine etc. are
also held daily at our hospitals. All these services
are almost free of cost as only Rs 10/- is charged towards
Initial Card fees. Mahavir International also has a
hostel facilities for the students coming from outside

| Q. How can I donate/contribute
in serving the society ? |

As per our Indian tradition there are
three ways to serve the society. These are through Tan,
Man & Dhan. So, one can choose to serve through
time or money, whichever suits him/her. For time contribution
he can contact our Board of Directors along with his/her
proposal and for financial contribution, please refer
to our donation details.

Delhi ? |

Any body who wishes to serve the society
selflessly can become the member of Mahavir International
Delhi. You can fill up the form and send to us alongwith
a cheque of Rs 11,000/- (Rupees Eleven Thousand
Only) in favour of Mahavir International, Delhi towards
Life Membership fees. Membership forms are available
in all our hospitals or you may send us an enquiry through
our website. However, final decision on membership will
remain with the Board of directors.

No, Mahavir International is not working
to promote any particular religion and it is working
with/for all sections of society. The motto of our organization
"LOVE ALL, SERVE ALL" is self explanatory
and includes all sections of society.

To promote the theme of "Fellowship
& Brotherhood" and to communicate with its
fellow members, Mahavir International, Delhi publishes
a monthly newsletter called "Mahavir Vision".
This newsletter is dispatched to all Members, Donors
and Prominent personalities every month.
